Luzuko Mrwebo is an academic currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Business at Helderberg College of Higher Education. He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and brings extensive experience in higher education, financial markets, and personal financial management. Prior to his appointment as Dean, Mrwebo served as Head of Department for the Bachelor of Business Administration in Management degree. He has lectured in various economics and business management subjects at tertiary institutions, including the University of Fort Hare and Helderberg College of Higher Education.
In addition to his academic career, Luzuko has a background in the financial sector. He previously worked as a Private Client Equity Trader in the stock market and briefly practised as an Independent Financial Planner. He is also a passionate writer and has self-published six books, three focusing on personal financial management and economic empowerment. Luzuko is married with children and remains a committed advocate for education that bridges theory with practical, real-world application—particularly in the areas of financial management and ethical leadership.
